Thunderbolt computer controlled lighting installation

Thunderbolt is a public sculpture piece from artist Bonita Ely that was installed at Sydney Olympic Park and now resides permanently in Broken Hill. The lighting of the structure is powered by solar cells and altered based on the power consumption of the surrounding residents. Holly was tasked with developing the software and hardware to make the project a reality in collaboration with the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of New South Wales.
